Its finally Friday and the weekend can start. It has been a nice week, allot to do at work but thats nice to.

I'm still using public transportation (TIDE) between work and home, it takes longer time but it's so nice to just sit down and rest for 25 min, while the driver take me to work..

Now and then i'll take some pictures while going to work or home, with my mobil. and if i do i post them on my mobile blog and if you want you can take a look.

On my way home from work to day, i took those pictures.

Hiking the mountain

Yes, the spring has arrived. And I had a trip on one of the mountains thats sorrunding Bergen City this Saturday. I took Fløybanen to the top, and started too walk dow again to the citycenter, after I had taken some photos on the top

Spring pictures, ship tracking, web cam and more from Bergen

After so many months it's so nice to show some spring pictures of Bergen again. I understand if you get sick of it but i love it..

I'll been doing some city walks and i have taken some pictures, not to many but some. I also find a link for allot of web cam in and around Bergen, her you can follow bergen spring and summer life.

For the ones of you who have interest in Ship traffic i also found a link to a page who is tracking coastal ship traffic and it gives you information about the vessels.

So Let's start with the pictures..

The Norway Post - Stolen religious painting recovered

Stolen religious painting recovered

The famous Renaissance painting worth NOK 20 million which was stolen from the Larvik Church in Vestfold early Sunday, has been recovered, apparently unharmed. One man has been arrested.

A spokesman for the Vestfold police precinct said Wednesday evening that the painting had been found in a van, and was now in police hands.

One person has been arrested, charged with having participated in the theft, police said. They were not willing to give more details at this time.

The painting by Lucas Cranach (1472-1553), a personal friend of Martin Luther, has hung in the Larvik Church for 330 years.

The painting titled \"Let the small children come to me\", and was painted 450 years ago.

Stolen painting, from a church..

Someone broke in and stole this Renaissance painting, from a church (Larvik Kirke) in Larvik (Norway), it's painted by Lucas Cranach "the elder" and is painted on a wooden board.

The value of the painting is about 20.000.000,- NOK (2.836.000,- USD)

It don't mater if it's a church, a mosque or a synagogue.. You just don't steel from these kind of buildings..

It's been on the same wall in the same church from the day the church was open in year 1666 !!

I told you, spring is her :-)

Spring is coming to Bergen..

Finaly the spring is coming and days are longer with more daylight..

The new thing for me is my investment in bus card, and for the last month i just used the car two times. It's so nice, i save money and get more exercise at the same time. I have a 15 min walk to and from the bus stop every day. It's a win/win situation :-)

Another good thing, is now with more daylight the possibility for shooting some pictures are better then in the winter time.

My camera is always close and i never leave home without it. My plan is to use the opportunity to take some pictures between home and work, thats the plan and i think i will see it trough.

Stil not to mutch light in the dawn, but it's comming :-)

Our princes is growing and she loves listening to music, and when we find the old and broken guitar she loves it. The guitar misses some strings and is out of tune, but she don't care.
