The Bryggen in Bergen

I've been walking the city again, this time i went for a walk in the harbor area.. Bryggen, the old harbor of Bergen, is a reminder of the town's importance as part of the Hanseatic League's trading empire from the 14th to the mid-16th century. Many fires, the last in 1955, have ravaged the beautiful wooden houses of Bryggen but its main structure has been preserved.

Nice day for a walk in the neighborhood

I went for a walk to day, my wife was at work and i head nothing to do. The best part was the sun and the nice temperature.

In the right of the picture, a isle called Askøy. I'm at my balcony when i took this

This is a living area in city called Georgernes Verft, in old days it was a ship yard but some years ago they built apartments there. It's a nice and expensive neighborhood

This is from a part of yhe old city, nice small houses and narrow streets.
It's so nice to walk in between

If you look in the middle of the street, they change the angle of
the bricks for the horses, it could be very slippery.

This is the courthouse in Bergen, and if you zoom in, you can
see the statues representing the four element of law

The building of the custom service, all foreign ships has to report to them

And now at the end, I'm almost home again.
