New post from Bergen, a visit to the Aquarium

Hi !!
Today I'll show you some pictures from the local aquarium ( Bergen Akvarie )
It is a popular spot for both residents and visitors in Bergen

The Penguin is pretty popular, and the Bergen Aquarium is one of the few aquariums who have breeding's penguins.

Then we are inside, this is a Blowfish..

And now we come to the newest exhibit at the aquarium, there is a shark tank that you can walk through. The tank contains 5 sharks and various fish.

Then we come to the diner, nice but over priced place to eat a cake and drink coffee.

A walk in Nordfjordeid city

Today we was (as the title say) in Nordfjordeid, my wife and here mom went shopping and our princes and me went for a walk.

One thing first....
To the ones who still visiting my blog and still coming back, thank you... I'm still her, but I'm so occupied with school and work. My exam is in late April and if that goes well "I'LL BE BACK"

But for now this post have to do. As always when i'm out, i bring my camera and try to take some pictures.

Princess & Christmas/New Year update from Bergen

Hi all. Here is a Christmas/New Year posting from us in Bergen, hope all of you who visit my blog are doing well. I'm still here and is often visiting my favorites blogs for a look. When it comes to posting at my own blog, It's much seldom. It is this time, but also a little writer's block that makes the biggest problems

This Christmas we have guests staying trough holiday, presents is given and best regards are given. Now we starting a new year and in April i have my exam, Mr. panic already come visiting :-)

As you can see from the following picture, our Princess is growing up. She is our joy in life and is the sweetest little thing...

As i mention earlier our family visiting us this Christmas, among them there is my brother in law (O) and his girlfriend (D). They are both artistic and very good in drawing and animation.

A litle update from Bergen

Hey folks, it's been a while sins I last posted something her. My excuse?? I don't have any, but time flies, work and family are really the only thing I use my time on.

In the last month, allot of things has happen. At work it's allot to do and I was offered a trainee job, I'm going to bee at a different office for some months. It's so nice to get more experience; it will give me a better chance when I apply for other positions at my work place.

On the private part, every thing goes just great. Our little princes are growing and the 14th of June she is One year. She is the most beautiful little thing and she gives us allot of joy, last mount she also start using her feet's for standing on, and she is now up and around every where.

Yes I've also taken allot of pictures, but most of them is family and princes. But of curs now & then I take others too.

And her is one fore Kyle & Svet in Russia. Our submarine navy force is in these days 100 year, and for that reason, submarines from other countries come visiting. This one is a Russian submarine. It isn’t that many years ago, this would be impossible.

Bergen pictures, hiking the mount Fløyen

Today we went for a long walk. We started by taking the Fløibanen up to mount Fløyen, one of the 7 mountains surrounding Bergen. After taking allot of pictures we walked down and on the way we stopped for even more pictures....

Our home is down there some where.

And my workplace is down there :-)

As i say earlier, we used the Fløibanen up to the top, Fløibanen is a funicular who is taking tourists an the ones who is living in the hill side up and down. This wheel was change some years ago and was the main wheel for running the funicular.

We are now allmoust down in city again, and on the way there is a old firestation (Skansen Brannstasjon) overlooking the city.

Thise one i taken only for Richard, who has a thing about Vikings.

Picture posting from Bergen

Its finally Friday and the weekend can start. It has been a nice week, allot to do at work but thats nice to.

I'm still using public transportation (TIDE) between work and home, it takes longer time but it's so nice to just sit down and rest for 25 min, while the driver take me to work..

Now and then i'll take some pictures while going to work or home, with my mobil. and if i do i post them on my mobile blog and if you want you can take a look.

On my way home from work to day, i took those pictures.

Monday afternoon in Bergen

Sitting her and looking trough my pictures, i realize that i have allot of pictures and I'm worry about the copy's.

Yes i do backup, and i store them safe, but how safe is Safe and how long do they last ??

Last count showed almost 10.000 pictures, and it just get more and more. On top of this the file size just getting bigger too, starting with my simple camera and up till today with my system camera where the RAW file is 13 MB each file.

Just now i have the backup on some hard-drive that i store at work, but i realize that i in the comming years, i'm going to loose some of the pictures.

If i keep up and take pictures just as much as now then i'm going to have about 40 - 50.000 pictures in 10 years

Some scientists should make a ever lasting storage disk, i wish for a 1-TB disk who never stop working..

But enough about boring stuff, and over to the pictures again.

This one is a picture from (Bergen Tinghus) court hall, this is one of four statues standing outside.

This is one of several ferries trafficking the west coast of Norway, between tree counties (Hordaland), (Rogaland) and (Sogn og Fjordane)

This one is named (Kommandøren) Commander

The sun i shining and you kan se the reflection in the windows, but why not in the center building ?

Exploring our apartment building

We are living i a apartment building, almost in the middle of Bergen. It's a 6 floor building with 18 apartments and at the attic it's allot of storage-room and a washing room.

Her is a picture from the stare case, with a nice railing in wrought iron and wood.

As i told you we also have a washing room in the addict, and this is where we select washing day and time.

Some signal lamp, that i haven't figure out how working yet...

Some old drying fan, it's out of order and we have dryer for the cloth now

that's todays posting, all the pictures are taken with my mobile phone and the quality is not the best. Maybe next time, i find some thing else to shoot..
